80+ volunteers maintaining 10 miles of trail in a single day? Sign me up!
Rogers Camp Loop Trail Maintenance Party
We're joining forces with Oregon Department of Forestry, State Forests Trust of Oregon, Northwest Trail Alliance,Trailkeepers of Oregon, Cyclepath PDX, Daybreak Racing, and Oregon Equestrian Trails to give love back to the OG historical Rogers (Browns) Camp Loop Trail! Working together, can we maintain 8 miles of trail in a single day??? We're sure as heck going to try!
We'll be clearing debris, brushing vegitation, and making sure the trail is in top shape for hikers and bikers. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help out! Don't forget to wear sturdy shoes and bring work gloves. Did we mention that there will be an awesome after-party at the Smith homestead?
When & Where: Meet at 8:30am sharp on Saturday, 4/18/26 at the Highway 6 Summit (north side of highway), adjacent to the Storeyburn Road intersection.
First things first, please sign the waiver ahead of time - https://form.jotform.com/260087750678164
Please dress for the weather, a spare change of clothes after the build is always a good idea! We recommend bringing a comfortable pair of gloves, boots/hiking shoes as we'll be covering some ground. Feel free to bring your bike/e-bike and packable tool. Speaking of tools...
Tools: Rakes, handsaws, loppers, pruners will be ideal. The lighter, the better for ease of carrying. We'll have a few spare tools to share.
We'll have coffee and donuts to fuel you up for the morning, followed by some amazing food (at Smith Homestead) courtesy of our partners at the State Forests Trust of Oregon.
Dig Day
2025–2026 Build season is here! We're doing things a little differently this year. You can bet on bi-weekly build days this year (weather-dependent). Each build day's objectives will be custom-tailored depending on our needs/conditions for the week.
Goals for this year include
• Armoring/Drainage for Bat Country
• Armoring/Drainage for Gnarstow
• Optimize Fear & Loaming (Re-routes, option lines, more features on the lower mountain!)
• Build “Sunset Strip” trail connecting upper trailhead to Bat Country.
Every build day will meet at 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Storeyburn Road and Highway 6. Link to the meeting spot: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zoEy5qyfknBZ9bkp9
After a quick morning meeting, we'll drive to the work area, grab some tools and hike to the trail. Please keep in mind that there is no cell/data coverage at the meeting location or along Highway 6. Don't forget to make provisions for navigation (Google maps "offline" helps).
What to bring
Dress for the weather: Bring sturdy boots and thick pants, layers, rain gear, work gloves, etc. Tools: Bring rakes, shovels, hoes, or whatever tools you might want to use for the day. We'll have a few extras on hand. Food & Water: bring plenty!

Ravens Revenge
June 6th is the return of (the return of) the Raven Ridge Downhill. Dust off the shred-sled, it's time to put your bike control skills to the test in what's affectionately known as the “Portland World Champs,” a proper between-the-tape Downhill race brought to us by our partners at Cyclepath and RockShox.
