Frienduro
Sixth Annual
Join the Westside Trail Federation and our amazing local sponsors Propain Bikes, SRAM, RockShox, Velocio, 805 Brewing, Lolo Racks, Cascade Bikes, Cyclepath PDX, Kitworks, Leatt, OneUp Components, Metropolis Cycle Repair, Warpaint, Moon Gravity Racing, Blackstone Stitchworks, and Smokehouse Chicken & Guns to celebrate the Sixth Annual Frienduro Fundraiser.
This is a halloween-themed fundraiser race on the famous Fear & Loaming trail. Come prepared to ride two laps of Upper Fear & Loaming, eat some delicious food, maybe do a little trail work and who knows what other mid-ride activities. Our sponsors have once again been extremely generous, and there are some truly amazing prizes to be won.
But don't forget that this is a fundraiser for our newly approved epic progressive jump trail, Electric Snake. We encourage participants to donate so we can start building this beast! So please open up those wallets and donate big; 100% of your support goes towards building this new trail!

Event Info
This race takes place on the upper section of the Fear & Loaming trail.
Meetup point / Race end / Party is at the gravel pit at mid-Fear & Loaming.
We try to keep our Frienduro format fresh, ensuring all riders have maximum fun on this well-loved race course. Those who’ve raced previous Frienduros will recognize our classic “checkpoint racing” style and team dynamics, and this year we’re leaning into that even harder.
Each rider will be asked to join a team of 2–5 people. You and your team will all drop at the same time, and will be able to complete a number of checkpoints on your way down the hill. Riders will have a bingo-card-style race plate, and you have the opportunity to complete multiple optional checkpoints for the chance to win prizes, or skip some for a faster time.
Each racer gets a Bingo card race plate with randomly placed checkpoints.
Teams start together. The team’s time will be the last rider from that team to cross the line.
Race Plates will have a spot to write the Team Name and number of riders. Once the last rider has crossed the line, they turn in their plate and their time is tallied.
Some stations will require all members to participate for stickers. Some only need one team member to collect stickers for the whole team.
You are encouraged to pedal up, but there will be plenty of folks offering shuttles.
Costumes “mandatory”
There will be a cookout after the race, prizes, and additional party laps to be had!
Once you’re entered, plenty of other details around parking and shuttles will follow.
This is an OBRA event. Annual or single event memberships are required to participate in the event. The event follows the OBRA Racing rules. Helmets must be worn at all times when on a bike.
